Mike Lukas is an enormously entertaining, fun bunch of guys.
Lukas--a tall, rangy figure with a shaven dome who cuts a striking figure onstage--operates his comedy as his own one-man sketch/improv troupe, often deftly weaving in and out of various characters & voices, including pieces where inanimate objects not only speak, but mess with his twisted head.
A cum laude graduate of the U. of Dayton, Mike went from being a computer programmer for AT&T in 1989 to entertaining tourists at MGM Studios, FL. He moved to Chicago in 1992 to do standup and perform improvisation with the Second City and Improv Olympic.
Lukas hosted and co-wrote 'The Straight Dope' on A&E for a season, and has done sets at the Montreal, Chicaco and Aspen comedy fests.
He's made multiple appearances on 'The Tonight Show' with Jay Leno and 'The Late Show' with Conan O'Brian, plus did spots on 'Premium Blend' and 'Standup Standup' on Comedy Central. Currently Mike co-hosts a podcast for www HotTalkLA.com in Los Angeles called 'CrackinUp' where he and his comedy partner Gretchen Massey dissect the Weird News.
Lukas continues to be a favorite at comedy clubs and on morning radio shows across America.
